Ben Rodier is Senior Director of Publisher Relations at Mediative. Since 2009, he has been responsible for leading the growth of Canada's largest retail advertising network with publishers such as Walmart Canada, Best Buy and Toys R Us.

Prior to joining Mediative, Ben held a variety of marketing and business development roles at Canwest and its flagship Global Television Network. Recognized as a leader in the field of media and advertising, he was named "One of Canada's Top Marketing Professionals" by Marketing Magazine.

Ben earned an MBA from Queen's University and a Bachelor of Commerce from the John Molson School of Business

Ian Everdell

Manager, User Experience and Research, Mediative

Ian Everdell is the Manager of User Experience & Research at Mediative. With a background in neuroscience, web design and eye tracking, Ian thrives off helping clients improve the online experience for their potential customers.

Ian has been involved with user experience, SEO, and SEM for projects ranging from quick-win audits for small B2B companies to long-term digital strategies for multi-billion dollar corporations. He is the project manager for Mediative's ongoing search engine and buyer behavior research, which has led to industry-standard publications such as the Google Golden Triangle and The BuyerSphere Project.

Ian has also taught Interface Design to up-and-coming web designers, and likes to think that his semi-regular blog posts about UX and related stuff are read (and even enjoyed, maybe) by at least a few people.

Ultimately, he feels that online experience comes down to two things: being found, and being good. If you aren't doing both, your online presence (or lack thereof) is doing you a disservice.

Bill is a marketing veteran who has been in the marketing, advertising and promotion industry for over 20 years, the last 10 of which have been focused on Search Marketing. He co-founded Enquiro along with Gord Hotchkiss in 1999. Mr. Barnes is a featured speaker at events presented by Search Engine Strategies, Ad-Tech, Jupiter Media, SIPA, Forrester Research and Frost & Sullivan. Bill has extensive experience in setting up and implementing Search Marketing and Research campaign for such companies as AT&T, IBM, Lexis/Nexis, Siemens and Grainger.
